The film stars Joel Edgerton, Christopher Abbott, and Carmen Ejogo. It Comes At Night approaches the post-apocalyptic genre in a very grounded and gruesome way. The film is disturbing at times but that’s the beauty of it. The film takes advantage of shadows, darkness, and a suspenseful premise to create an exciting thriller that does not require much effort to be interesting.
