Annabelle Comes Home

This is the new entry to the Conjuring Universe. After Annabelle Creation (1943), and the first Annabelle movie (1967) this one takes place after Conjuring 1 but before Conjuring 2.

The events take place in Warren’s home and the artifact room where the Annabelle doll and other artifacts are stored will play a significant role. Three kids, Warren’s daughter, the babysitter and her friend who sneaks in, are left alone in a house full of cursed artifacts.

Talk about superstition. Katie Sarife (who plays Daniela) said she keeps a rosary in her sock–just in case. That’s the actress who also played in Supernatural and Teen Spirit.

Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark

Alvin Schwarz has written the children’s book series “Scary stories to tell in the dark” in the 1980;s and early 90’s. The stories are folklore tales retold by Schwarz. The series which consisted of 3 books where frequently banned from school’s and libraries.

A 17 million budget movie with Kaya Scodelario starring. She will play a young woman, who will try to rescue her dad, who is trapped in his house during a category 5 hurricane. It will play in Florida and we will see the house flooding and some Alligators will make them company too.

After Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge, this is another movie in which Scodelario will have to deal with a lot of waters.

IT: Chapter Two

Release date: 06 September 2019

The young act got replaced by older versions to continue the story if IT. Still there will be a lot of forth and back and you will have the chance to see the young act again.

It is said that the movie will feature the most bloody scene in horror movie history according to an actress.

Initially, the release date was 11th of October, but it got pushed back one week at mid-May. The movie now is going against Maleficient 2, instead of the Gemini Man and the animated Addam’s Family movie. That’s a stacked competition…
