the conjuring devil made me do it-2

In 2013, James Wan directed the first film inspired by true cases investigated by Ed and Loraine Warren. Loraine and Ed investigated paranormal phenomena and participated in approximately 4,000 (!!!) cases of exorcism. Ed was able to perform exorcisms on his own, he was also a demonologist while Loraine was a psychic. She is a medium that can see things that ordinary people cannot.

In The Devil Made Me Do It, Ed and Lorraine Warren participate in an investigation of the trial of Arne Cheyenne Johnson, who was charged with manslaughter in 1981. Johnson’s defense maintained that he was possessed by a demon that led him to commit the crime. .

With Arne on trial, the Warrens figure out the origins of the demon that possessed Arne. They soon figure it was through a totem left by an occultist who was a devout member of the Disciples of the Ram. The Warrens consult a contact of theirs, a former priest named Kastner. They soon learn that in order to break the curse that now plagues Arne, they must destroy the altar belonging to the Occultist who made the curse must be destroyed.
